My New Journey, One step at a Time

My name is Kara! (I go by Kara Mia also for some groups).
After my 2nd baby was born in 2006 I had enough of being out of shape and not feeling good about myself. With the help pf all the tools and great people on SP I lost over 50 lbs. I went from 185 to 134.
The yrs have passed and a couple more babies and I am back to starting my journey again now that baby number 4 has arrived. I know I can do it again and this time I am going to have a bit more fun and celebrate each step ...

I have a wonderful husband and we have been married for 11+ years. We have two beautiful daughters 9 & 5 and two handsome sons 3 & 1.

With 4 young kids i have to keep a plan to get some me time!

I must celebrate each day. Its not just the big goals, its the daily goals I meet that will get me to my Big Goals.
I have to keep most of my goals small right now and worry about the big ones after the baby comes. My little goals will keep me on track.

My Program:
1)
-drink 10-14 glasses of water
-eat 5-6 mini meals
-walk for 10 min
-get my morning and evening supplements in

2) 10 min of reading the Bible per day
3) 10 min of reading to the kids a day
4) daily prayer time
5) Be in bed and listen to a relaxing, calming by 9pm
6) Take one pic, measure and weight 1x per week to see progress

I have 4 kids
4/2002, 4/2006, 11/2008 and 1/2011

I got married in July of 2000.

I am a Christian Homeschooling SAHM and I am just so thankful for each day.

I just want to say THANK YOU to all our Troops in the Marine Corps, Navy, Army, Air Force and Coast Guard! Thank you for keeping this country FREE!!!!

I hope that they remember the good days. And the fun times. I would love them to remember that. Now I just need to get everything together for next week and hope that I get it all together for that time.

I'm doing my best. My poor girls have not had so much TV time. But trying to keep educational right now. Leap frog videos etc. I hope to figure out something for tomorrow.

Thanks for asking. I can say I'm finally not running a temp of over 103. I don't have much of a fever left, just icky throat and cough and drained because I have not been able to rest much.

I had my 4th baby on January 20th emoticon I have had a heck of a time getting myself motivated enough to try and eat healthy and exercise. I just finally weighed myself this morning (the last time was at my 6 week pp check), so I should probably get my butt in gear now!!
