My name is Kara! (I go by Kara Mia also for some groups).
After my 2nd baby was born in 2006 I had enough of being out of shape and not feeling good about myself. With the help pf all the tools and great people on SP I lost over 50 lbs. I went from 185 to 134.
The yrs have passed and a couple more babies and I am back to starting my journey again now that baby number 4 has arrived. I know I can do it again and this time I am going to have a bit more fun and celebrate each step made :)

I have a wonderful husband and we have been married for 11+ years. We have two beautiful daughters 9 & 5 and two handsome sons 3 & 1.

With 4 young kids i have to keep a plan to get some me time!

I must celebrate each day. Its not just the big goals, its the daily goals I meet that will get me to my Big Goals.
I have to keep most of my goals small right now and worry about the big ones after the baby comes. My little goals will keep me on track.

My Program:
1)
-drink 10-14 glasses of water
-eat 5-6 mini meals
-walk for 10 min
-get my morning and evening supplements in

2) 10 min of reading the Bible per day
3) 10 min of reading to the kids a day
4) daily prayer time
5) Be in bed and listen to a relaxing, calming by 9pm
6) Take one pic, measure and weight 1x per week to see progress

I got married in July of 2000.

I am a Christian Homeschooling SAHM and I am just so thankful for each day.

    I just started using the my fitness pal 2 weeks ago, I've lost 6lbs. I don't know how much I really like it though, it takes some getting use too. It is nice because you are more connected with your friends and can really see how everyone is doing, and you can comment better on everyone's progress. It's free, you should sign up and just see if you like it. I only did it because some of my friends were doing it.

    I'm doing. This being sick and in pain that I can't do anything about it hard. I call about some results and get a CAT scan today. SO we shall see what happens.

    I'm doing good, how are you doing? I haven't been on here for awhile. I started using myfitnesspal.com. Did you just recently find out you have celiac's? I bet that is a lot of work trying to change your diet like that! I've looked into a gluten free way of life as my oldest is Autistic, but I was so overwhelmed. I hope you are doing and feeling well.
