I have been at this for a while now. It took me some time to even stop gaining; but that has happened, and I have slowly but surely lost a few pounds at last! I feel much peppier and waaaay more positive. I walk every day and go to Curves before work about 4 times a week. Those two habits alone should help me keep my focus. I am awaiting the arrival of my pedometer and resistance bands/ball from the Spark store. I found a used stationary bike at a garage sale, so I can do that while watching TV. Trying to make every step be in the right direction!! But now, when I slip up, I don't give up!

My Goals:
I want to lose a pound week on average for at least 6 months.


My Program:
I work a lot and don't have as much time as I would like to devote to a program. I mainly try to keep my eating in check, take a walk every day, go to Curves 5 times a week and keep active at the playgrounds with the children t I care for. It is fun to be a kid again at age 59!!



Personal Information:
I moved to CA in March of 2008 for a fresh start in life after experiencing some hard times in the Caribbean. At this point, all of that feels like it never happened, and I am happy with my comparatively quiet life now. I work as a nanny taking care of 2 sets of twins, and I love it. Nothing compares to the welcoming hugs I get every day when I arrive at their homes. Life is good.


Other Information:
I recently moved into the quirkiest little shabby chic cottage, and I am enjoying making it into a warm, cozy home. It is wonderful to have my own yard and garden again after 3 years of apartment life.
