My Goals:
Better overall fitness-mind, body and soul!

My Program:
I am outdoors as much as possible, biking, walking or running. I am a member of Operation Bootcamp at Lake Hefner. Balanced meals, portion sizes and adding more of the veggies and lean proteins.

Personal Information:
My husband & I moved here 3 years ago for his work. I have two wonderful step-children, one, a recent grad of The Ohio State University and one who just joined the Army.

We decided our move here would include a focus on improving our quality of life and making time to enjoy each day to the fullest. We're sports junkies and love to get out to support our new "home" teams as well as the arts; hard to pass up a great show! That also ties in well with a nice dinner; the dining variety has been a pleasant suprise for us.

Attitude
by Charles Swindoll

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.

Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company ... a church ... a home.

The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past. We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable.

The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude ... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me, and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you ... we are in charge of our Attitudes.

Thank you for the comment about today's blog. I am better now. And you are absolutely right. She is cute. So much in fact that it scares me sometimes. She is also very friendly.

Thank you for cheering me up.

Hi sweetheart emoticon .
Maybe we should go on a walk around Hefner some day. Are you locals still walking? I haven't been active/reading the boards.

Glad you're bouncing. :) I should be ... thanks for the reminder! If I can bootcamp at 4:45a.m., I can do anything! LOL. emoticon

I hope you read/hear JUST the thing you need to in order to get inspired again. emoticon emoticon

I just want to say Thank You for the nice comment and to say Sorry for being gone for so long. I have been in my dark cloud these past weeks. No one to blame but myself. I really hope to stick with it, working one day at a time! Have a Super Weekend! emoticon
