Hello from sunny Arizona. I'm a 55 year old that wants to get in shape so I can enjoy life to it's fullest. After struggling my whole life with dieting I 'm trying to learn to live a healthy life style. My husband has also taking the vow of change. . We are in this for the long haul. No more I will start on Monday for us. I love Spark people they are the greatest.

Success is not final... failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts....

With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts...

It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop...

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up... The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time...

Don't watch the clock... do what it does. Keep going...

Never give up... for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn...

You have to learn the rules of the game... And then you have to play better than anyone else...

Picture yourself when you were five.... In Fact dig out a photo of little you at that time... and ... tape it to your mirror...

How would you treat her... Love Her... Treat Her... Feed Her... ???

How would you nurture her if you were the mother of little you...

I bet you would protect her Fiercely...

while giving her space to Spread her Itty-Bitty Wings...

She'd gets naps... Healthy Food... Imagination Time... and Adventures into the wild...

If playground bullies hurt her feelings... you hug her tears away....
and giver her perspective...

When Tantrums or Meltdowns... turned her into a poltergeist...
You Demand a Loving Time... out in the naughty chair...

From this Day Forward... I want you to Extend that same compassion to your Adult Self...

It's not a Diet... But a Life Style... that you have to plan...

It's not for Him... it's for Yourself... Keep that in the plan...

It's not for just one day... two... or three... four... But Everyday...

It's not to feel really good in a dress... oh noooo... Nope...

but to feel good in your own skin...

It's not for the Beach... but for your Mind...

It's not for Competition... Ease that from your Mind...
