I've struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. I've let it define how I see myself & what I THINK others see me as -OVERWEIGHT.
When I joined Sparkpeople, I had already lost 38 lbs. I'm DETERMINED to NOT yo-yo anymore. The weight is being DISPOSED of-not misplaced, not lost, because I'm NOT going looking for it EVER! I will not delude myself & think that once I've lost all I need to that my struggle is over. It has been a lifelong struggle, but I would much rather struggle from the other side of the scale-Keeping it off vs Taking it off.
5-17-12 58.5 lbs gone!
10-8-11 I've lost 50 lbs! I'm hoping to lose another 10-15lbs.
I'm at a weight I haven't been since my 20's (or before).

Fitness Minutes: 12,939

My Goals:
May 2012 Broke 150-reached the 140's
Dec 2011-Reach 150#
Reach 150# by the end of Nov 2011 -not met but weighed 153# Nov 30th

First goal was to reach 150# but once I got started, I'm inspired to reach 145-140#.
My OVERALL goal is to NOT gain the weight back-EVER!


My Program:
Tracking ALL my intake.
Focusing on increasing my protein & fiber to help with cravings & feeling of fullness.
Staying active, but realistic. This can be difficult for me-I have the attention span of a gnat & get easily bored with workouts-Zumba has so far filled the niche.



Personal Information:
I live in the Northwest, love to fish, hunt (when I can), and I'm a horse addict. I have performance bred horses & a couple of mules.
I LOVE to laugh-I think I have a bit of a warped sense of humor-not really sick but definitely a slanted view of things. I suppose its necessary in healthcare.
I work in a hospital as a Respiratory Therapist.


Other Information:
I took up snowboarding at 46yr old. Looking for more summer activities.
I enjoy reading, but I'll binge on books-if I have the time to read. I like Frank Peretti, Randy Alcorn
