Never Give Up...

I have been a part of Spark since August 2008! I have reached my goal original goal of 182 lbs. I've made many positive changes in my life in the time spent here. I made many wonderful Spark Friends, some of whom I have had the pleasure to meet in person. Without them and Spark I would have thrown in the proverbial towel and just quit trying to do more to lose weight, to do more to learn about nutrition, to do more to better myself physically and mentally, to better understand the why and what ...

Without them and Spark I would have thrown in the proverbial towel and just quit trying to do more to lose weight, to do more to learn about nutrition, to do more to better myself physically and mentally, to better understand the why and what of my eating disorder (mindless) to better coup with it.
It is up to me to "Make It Happen" if I don't who will...no one! Always back to those initial small steps to make changes for the better. To battle mindless eating every single day is an ongoing challenge.

Howdy!!
I am on the Resolute Renegades...I am very excited to see what happens. I did watch Person's of Interest the other night...I found an article you might wanna read

The Frozen Tundra up here....well we had these really fast winds today and 6 inches of snow so far. We live by a corn field so we also get the snow drifts...fun fun
I have been practicing on my hula hoop but I have to take breaks because it's still hard on my sides...but I am getting there.

Noticed your post on our General Chat and just thought I would tell you my DH was a teacher also, about the same amount of time as you. He taught here in Glendale, I believe History and Math.

He has a law degree and was a Judge (just hearing things like civil disputes, etc) but when he decided on teaching he got his Master's and stuck with it -- gives him a nice retirement.

Hugs, Eve

OK, I'd be happy to show you where it's done. First thing you always do your regular spin by going to your Spark Points page -- you get there by going to Trackers at the top of your page. Once your points for the day get to 25 you will be notified that you get a "bonus" spin. You click on that and get points for your bonus spin. I keep track of them by regular spin (the first one) and the bonus spin, available after you've gotten 25 or more points for the day.

Then click on START -- up by the Tracker only more to the left. On that page you can click on various things you may not have collected points on as yet. As you scroll down the page, toward the bottom you will see all the teams you belong to. I believe there is a little red flag by each one, you click on the red flag to get your "spin" number for each team.

Good luck! Now go out there and rack up those points!
Hugs, Eve

Joanne, are you sure you got a 7 on your team spin? The only numbers I have ever seen are 1, 2, or 3 and then 10, 20, or 50. It is the spin that is done from the START page, not the log-in spin or the bonus spin.

Just thought maybe you didn't know which "spin" we were referring to.
Thanks, Eve
