What are you doing to treat yourself this weekend? You deserve a bit of R&R so I hope you take sometime to relax with family or friends. How about a pedicure to reward your feet for all those wonderful steps you have been taking all week?
If you decide to dine out, remember all is not lost. If you do decide to dine out, one great way to cut your bill (and portion) in half is to split the entrée. Most restaurants have generously sized portions, so splitting it is easy. You won't feel that regretful dread of, "I can't believe I ate the whole thing," and you can share your meal with your sweetie or best friend. I often ask for a to-go container or bring a plastic container from home. As soon as the entrée arrives, I cut everything in half placing one half in the container. Then I have lunch for the next day. So don't feel deprived by skipping a few special occasions . . . just go with a strategy of how to live healthy everyday . . . even on the weekends.

Job hanging in there there . . . I believe I detect some downward movement of your ticker!
I just wanted to drop by and see how you were doing this month . . . . Sorry I have been quiet the first half of July . . . my mother was in the hospital and I needed to be there for her. After she was released, I took her to my nieces wedding. The next week just flew by so fast. I did try to stay in touch but it was difficult without having a reliable Internet connection. It is nice to be back in Utah again so that I can stick to my SP program and support my SP friends.
I hope that July finds you making progress towards your goals. I am making slow progress but it is progress. I will be happy with a loss even if it is one and two pounds at a time.
