I'm a 40-year old lady, striving to live healthier. I'm good at exercising, but really struggle with my eating. I've been doing Weight Watchers since April 2011 and have lost 42 pounds, have gone from a size 18 to a 12, and dropped my 5K run time from 33:47 to 25:48!

My Goals:
I'm 5'9". My goal weight is 175. In April 2011, when I started my weight loss journey I weighed 225, and now I'm down to 183.

I would like to improve my 5K time from 32 minutes to 26-27 minutes. Update: In In November 2011 I ran a 25:48 5K and now I've run my first two 10K's!

I would like to lose weight so that I can be faster playing soccer.

I'd like to get off Prilosec, which I've been taking the past 4 years since I gained all this weight. Update: I was able to go off this medication in March 2012, when I went under 190 pounds

My Program:
In April 2011 I joined Weight Watchers to help me with my food struggles.

I've always been active in sports. Currently I'm working out 5-6 days a week. I usually run, alternating between distance, speed, and interval wrokouts. I lift weights twice a week.



Personal Information:
I strive to eat healthy food, although I often eat too much. I buy only organic meat, eggs and dairy products, and mostly organic fruit and vegetables.

It drives me crazy that the healthier food is more expensive, but I think of it as an investment.

Other Information:
I live in central Oklahoma with my husband and 11-year old daughter.

My husband started doing Weight Watchers in January 2012 and has lost 68 pounds in the first 5 months. He still has another 38 pounds to go until he reaches his goal weight.

Hi Jennifer! I'm looking forward to seeing you guys for dinner tonight, too. I have a plan for eating at O. It involves seaweed salad and soup. I've been on SP every day, just haven't updated my status or blogged, though I think I will write a blog today.
