I am a 35 year old Mom of 3 and was recently diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I am fighting a daily war with pain and fatigue, but I am determined to not let it control my life.

I made a goal for myself months ago and I have put a renewed effort into that goal. I have an exercise bike, treadmill, and do alot of Leslie Sansone's Walk Away The Pounds tapes, so my goal is to "do" 25 miles a day!!! (Hence my SP name) With the diagnosis of RA recently, I have decided that I will try for at least 4-5 miles a day until I can get the RA more in control.

Well, here it is 2008 and I have not been on top of things as far as Spark and my weight loss are concerned. The RA has progressed and now affects just about all of my joints, and as of 2008, I have developed some sort of cardiac issues, which we are still trying to determine. So, needless to say, my 25 mile a day goal has not been met in some time. I am currently having to use forearm crutches to walk and distance and exercise has not been happening much at all....which I miss a bunch!

I am keeping track of what I eat and trying to do the best I can considering...and hoping to get the RA under control soon so I can get back to my exercising self!!

My Goals:
I want to lose 50 lbs before the end of the year. A back injury brought the weight back on, but I need to get it off to make my back stonger. And I want to get back to what I looked like in my picture. I have actually just made a new goal for myself. I have an exercise bike, treadmill, and do alot of Leslie Sansone''s Walk Away The Pounds tapes, so my new goal is to "do" 25 miles a day!!!
