I have been with Spark People for quite some time. I've done well and not so well. I'm not doing well at this point soooooooooooooooo somethings have to change. I'm going to try, again, to balance my life. I have two jobs and maintain our home. The main job is that of a pastor (my husband and I both are pastors of the same church). My second job is that of a day care provider for three toddlers and two school age children. I love both jobs, but have been totally overwhelmed ...
I have been with Spark People for quite some time. I've done well and not so well. I'm not doing well at this point soooooooooooooooo somethings have to change. I'm going to try, again, to balance my life. I have two jobs and maintain our home. The main job is that of a pastor (my husband and I both are pastors of the same church). My second job is that of a day care provider for three toddlers and two school age children. I love both jobs, but have been totally overwhelmed lately. I'm 60 and it becomes difficult, at times, to watch children. Normally there are children in my home seven days a week. That's not bad, just tiring and at times exhausting. I'm working on balancing. I started this journey at 180 pounds in 2005. At one point I was 133 pounds and doing exercise 1 hour a day. I can't do one hour of exercise anymore. I'm currently at 150 and I need to get active. I'm only five three and 150 is too much weight--blood tests tells me that. The plan is to start with 10 minutes of exercise every other day and work up to more time. I also need to add strength exercises. I want to be down to at least 130 by October 1. I plan on weighing in on Sunday mornings. On November 16th my husband and I will be repeating our wedding vows. We've known each other for 41 years and have been married 38 years. I would not know what to do without him.
