Time to finally update my page!

Wow - It has been a while since I updated my page so thought I better start fresh. I started (July) once again logging all of my foods and exercise into my trackers. This has always been helpful in the past so I am hoping it will help me again be accountable for my food intake and exercise.

I need to lose this weight and get fit. I had a health scare a while back and it really shook me up. I am too young to ache when I move... I have got to get my act together!

I need to lose this weight and get fit. I had a health scare a while back and it really shook me up. I am too young to ache when I move... I have got to get my act together!

After having lost nearly 30 pounds with SP a couple years back I know I can do this!

My hubby and I have bought a gym membership and plan to use it 3-4 times week in addition to my daily walks. It would be nice to get back to the point were I feel comfortable trying the C25K once again... first - one step at a time.

I am still sick and tired of feeling sick and tired! My body aches in weird places ,and I lack energy and motivation. I am way too young to feel this way. It is time to start enjoying my life and to be the person that I want to be.

I always appreciate words of encouragement so feel free to share any with me to keep me going.

My Goals:
New goals: August 2012

Lose 5 pounds per month with healthy eating (1200-1550 cal range) and daily walking to add up to 10,000 steps per day.


Walk daily for 30 minutes minimum

Get my cholestrol and triglycerides within the acceptable range.


To give back to society for being there for me.

My Program:
I will use the daily food tracker to monitor my calorie intake and to ensure I am getting the proper nutrients my body needs.

I will use the fitness tracker to monitor my activity.

I will use the videos and exercises to help meet my strength goals.

I will drink 8 glasses of water daily.


Personal Information:
I live in Ottawa, Ontario with my hubby and have 2 grown daughters and a golden retreiver.

I have been overweight for most of my married life and am sick of how I look. It is way overtime time for a major overhaul!

Other Information:
I like TV a bit too much. I love the Mentalist, Suits, Rookie Blue, Artic Air, Republic of Doyle, Dr. Oz and Dallas.

I like to garden but find the heat of the summer a challenge with my weight.

Hi!!
Yes, I have gained some weight back (though my goes back to the beginning of the year and moving back to CA) and I am completely ready to jump back in to Spark and then back into shape!

I started the January Jumpstart Program and am looking forward to pushing myself to workout for 4 straight weeks.

I am glad to 'see' you!!!
