Hi - just popping by to say hello as part of the 'Christians with 100 pounds to lose' November challenge. I liked your story about the goat - it was cute, but so true - a good reminder that we can use all the experiences and circumstances for constructive or destructive purposes. With the Lord's strength lets use them to get ourselves out from under the excess weight we care around. I see by your list of hobbies that you are a very creative lady - I like to crochet and scrap book, but I also enjoy cross stitch and quilting when I am in the mood. Best wishes on your journey to health.
things are well here as well. Am settled in the new job. Only thing now is fighting for a bigger salary....LOL But since my boss really likes my work there is hope. Kenyan's are very disappointed with your President being Irish.....LOL. After all "we" are so proud of his Kenyan ancestry.
We are headed for the cold season, which I hate (no heating in our houses and the windows all let the wind pass through), but at least in August I will be flying to Europe to visit Mum and travel with her, Stepdad and my aunt for my Baby sister's wedding. Can you imagine the Baby I raised until she was 4 (before I went to college), is getting married. Does that make me old....LOL But I am so happy for her that she found a wonderful guy who is a great stepdad to her 2 sons.
