Still Trying!

Posting this for my Spark Friends that may wonder where I disappeared to.
My husband retired two years ago and we have been busy ever since. I just don't have time to spend much of it on Spark. I do miss it, but it is fun spending time with my husband and doing some travel.

Still have not reached my goal weight, but getting lots of exercise walking. We try for 10000 steps a day, 6 days a week. We usually make at least 5000 every day. Finding it hard to eat as healthy on the road, but we are learning to cope.
Thanks to my friends for all the encouragement.

Thanks for stopping by my blog on Streaks. I have actually never tried a streak before (not that I was consciously tracking) so this will be something new for me.

I understand your height problem in relation to your weight. I'm 5'2 and my goal originally was to get to 125, although right now I'd be pleased to see 135 which would put me at a healthy BMI. I keep yo-yoing between 137 and 139. Perhaps the no candy streak will help.

Good Luck on reaching that 130 goal by September. For me the time during summer is easier than the winter months.

Thanks for browsing through my art tour -- bunnies, puppies, kitties are all soft spots for me. I remember one time I had quite a collection of mother/baby art, various kinds of animals in it (No people at all) and one in particular was an elephant as that's another thing I used to collect.

I would have lost even more if the fire had been in our Glendale home, but it was bad enough as it is. So sad when you lose originals, although they all feel like originals to me, because you never know just where to find one just like it for replacement.

Have a great day! Eve emoticon

Thanks for the idea! I already walked on the treadmill so I think I'll go onto the nap now.
Have a good weekend!
