Beautiful Woman Award!
I got this nearly 3 weeks ago and instantly thought of you deserving one too! Once you've been given this award for a first time, you should paste it on the wall of 8 women (why 8? not sure, that's the rules as they were said to me... choose less if you really want to but, the more you give out, the more of your friends will feel special today and isn't that fun!?!) who deserve it.

If you receive some in return, you know you're really beautiful! If you break the chain, nothing will happen (I hate those sort of posts like this which promise bad things and never pass those on), but it's always good to know someone thinks you're beautiful inside and out and don't you want your lady sparkfriends to feel beautiful today?

So what are you waiting for? Pass on the award and share the joy!

Come back, Luda, I need you! :) I feel lonesome w/out your being here! I cannot be here as often as I would like, and I know it is hard for you, too. But, please drop in once in a while! I will be gone tomorrow, as I always am on Wednesdays ... hope when I get home I find evidence of your return! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Hello, Luda! I have missed you! Thanks for the comment on my page; I am embarrassed to be so long getting back to you. Most of the time I get on and get off as quickly as possible ... I am so far behind! I always want a little more time to write to you and Brandy.

Staying the same weight for three weeks this time of year is especially good ... especially with all the cooking you do! I usually cook a lot, too, but have not this year. Our son is treating us again (He did at T'giving, too.) at the Marriott, where he works. I have been so thankful not to have to cook! I am just too old and too out-of-energy to do that anymore!

Congratulations to your hubby for the promotion! That is wonderful, but remember when my husband used to get them, it always required more work, so I do understand! But, it's good news, especially in today's economy. I'm happy for you.

I'm glad your feet are not hurting! It is terrible to really WANT TO EXERCISE and not be able to because of pain. I've been having a little problem with that lately ... not so much pain, but a general fatigue that even a good night's sleep could not help. I hated to mess up my streak, but I think my life is more important! emoticon

I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas. Stay safe and happy! We are going to be very busy the next few days, and weather permitting, we are going to VA to visit our daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. (I don't think I have told you, Luda, that our older son died 6 years and 8 months ago. It is a grief we live with every day, but the Lord gets us through it. We are thankful that our son was a wonderful Christian man and we know we will see him again. Also, he left us his precious little family, and we have another son (divorced) and granddaughter who are also sources of joy and pride. We have much to be thankful for and try to keep our minds on those things!)

I will be remembering you over the holidays and hope they are wonderful for you! In a few weeks things will get back to normal and we can concentrate more on our own healthy lifestyle changes! emoticon emoticon emoticon

PS: I meant to say above that I took yesterday off from exercising! :)
