I am an inspired mama of four fantastic kiddos and wife to one great guy. I own and operate a company called Baby Inspirations, making infant & toddler clothing with inspirational words and blessings. I tend to give so much of myself to others that I have nothing left for myself. I want to be healthy. I want to be active. I want to wake up in the morning and feel refreshed, not tired. I want the appearance of my outer body to match the vibrant person I am on the inside. I want to inspire, motivate & support myself to achieve my goals the way I inspire, motivate & support others in achieving their goals. My time is now....I am ready to soar!

update August 2010:

Wow! Imagine if I had not had a setback where I would be now!! I have inspired myself with the words I once spoke and am beginning again...rolls and all.

January 2011:

Sometimes discovering who you really are and living in that truth is like learning to walk. You take a step, wobble a bit, then fall. You may go back to crawling for a bit because its what you know and it gets you from here to there, but the dream of walking still burns in your heart. Then, one day, when no one is looking, you dare to step again. You still wobble, but miraculously you take another step, then another. Before you know it your steps have led you farther than you ever imagined. You keep moving forward knowing that each step you take brings you closer to reaching your goal. You keep moving forward because each step you take brings such joy to your spirit and makes you believe that someday you will indeed fly.

My Goals:
1. Be active so that i can keep up with my kids.
2. Find my inner thin person
3. Be kind to myself
4. Become a "creative cook" and find/create recipes that are delicious AND healthy
5. Learn once and for all that portion control is NOT how much i can squeeze onto my plate


7. walk at least 2 miles a day

September 2009 Goals:

Physical:
Break past the 162
barrier

Actually strength train instead of making excuses as to why i shouldn't

Mix up my workouts to include a variety of cardio activities, not just walking.

Gastronomic:

Try two new healthy foods that I would never have thought to try in the past.

Emotionally:

Believe in myself

keep moving beyond the limitations set by past behaviors...no matter how uncomfortable it makes me.

Grow a little more everyday

August 2010:
re-read my goals from before because they all apply now!


My Program:
I'm adding more fresh veggies and fruit to my diet(easy to accomplish in summer)
Eating meals from a smaller plate so my plate still LOOKS full but protions are more realistic.
I'm writing everything down so there are no opportunities for faulty memory :)

I AM EXERCISING! I try to walk a little further each day and ride my bike once a week.
