Fit Mom & Wife

I am happily married and a first-time mommy looking to get back in shape! I was a former contemporary/jazz/hip hop dancer and I want my body back.

I accomplished 60 days of Shaun T, Insanity, but my issue was not making great food choices. Overall a great program, its just I wasn't ready to COMMIT truly to the program - nutrition is a must to lose the weight.

UPDATE:
Reached my goal with P90X Dec 2011. Jan 2012, found out we were pregnant! That hasn't stopped me from working out. Still pushing play with other Beachbody programs, and LOVIN' It. This is not a hobby but a new sense of Lifestyle.

As of May I am still going strong! No excuses to stop dead in my tracks because I'm temporarily gaining weight. I'm trying to recover quickly as possible after all 9 months!

I have always been an active child/adult with dance, cheer. So having this reconnect with fitness brings full circle with great happiness and my love for it. I'm always out and about encouraging others to at least get out the house and Move!!

Working my training to become a Turbokick Instructor, and certified Personal Trainer as a group trainer.

Other Information:
I love dancing. Been a dancer since age 9. I love freedom of expression!

I actually havent done P90x since I got sick almost two weeks ago. I have worked out since, just not the P90X. I think I was holed up in the house for so long, that once I felt better I just wanted to get out and went to the gym instead.

My christmas was a mix, one day that was 2hrs drive away I managed to get a 4074calorie total for the day according to fitbit and then I showed a loss on the scale... then two days later I had jumped up in weight! ARGH! Working hard to lose the holiday weight. How are you going? How was your christmas?

I don't have an actual start date yet because my mom just ordered it for me. Whenever I get it in the mail, I will start the following week.

Hi there, no I havent erally gotten back into things! I had a fabulous sleep last night though and woke energised but my lounge wasn't looking flash so I've been doing housework instead. As per the plan I'll do a round of inferno starting boxing day and lead into the 20 week plan, I'm really going to focus more on my food this time though as last time I did nearly every workout, but still didn't really lose. Today is a family xmas 2hrs drive away and I'll be attempting to stick to my calories (hard to do when you don't actually know the calories of some foods though) and then tomorrow I'll get into calorie counting properly with lots of fruits and veggies. How are you getting on?
