Lost 90+lbs! If I can do this, anyone can!
I've lost ver 90 pounds since Jan 23, 2011. A year and a half ago, I would never have believed I would be in such a place now. I'm NEVER going back to that place again! NEVER!! I feel so much better after loosing this weight. At 5'2", I weighed 235 and was miserable. The way I did it was a slightly modified version of the the South Beach diet. I feel so much better after loosing this weight. At 5'2", I weighed 235 and was miserable. The way I did it was a slightly modified version of the the South Beach diet. Basically low carb, but it's the only "bad carbs" you don't eat. You DO still eat veggies, WHOLE grains, beans & nuts lean meat/protein (I eat more than it says, and not ALWAYS lean) and lots of healthy veggies and some fruit. My modifications are that I cut back on grains, and fruit some. That's it. No counting carbs, no counting calories, no tracking points. You can either eat it or not. I DO have to say in all honesty that my faith in God (as my Rock) has been the biggest part of my success. I must admit the truth though. It's MORE than just the diet. It's GOD. He is my Rock. He is my strength when I would have failed long ago. I can't tell my story without Him. I could never do this alone.

My Goals:
I started my weight loss journey in Jan 2011. My goal was to loose 100lbs. Not sure if I can do this (been on a plateau for months) but Lord willing...
My Program:
Basically using the South Beach Diet, Supercharged, with some slight modifications like eating less grains and a bit more fat & nuts. I eat a lot of protein.
