Hi! I'm Patty Wunder! I am an All American Girl - First Born in USA - Family from Germany...and now I am living in New Zealand! I have had amazing success at weight-loss...amazing gains due to injury...and many obstacles...here are just a few!

1. Moving countries
2. losing jobs/loss of income/redundancy
3. Not finding food I like/available that I was use to using everyday in the states ever...or at a price you won't choke over! :)
4. I have Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue thanks to so many back issues...but I know what helps it and what makes it worse. Sometimes I can control it, sometimes I can't!
5. In an 18 month period starting in 2011, I had my appendix removed, then 4 months later my gallbladder, followed 4 months later with a broken ankle at roller derby which put me in bed for 6 weeks and was promptly followed with severe blood clots in my knee and groin, so was put on different birth control and blood thinners...and of course add the things from #4 to the mix...

The positive things that came out of the obstacles were I realized no matter how TYPE A and how much of a CONTROL FREAK I am, I CAN'T CONTROL EVERYTHING...EXCEPT WHAT I PUT IN MY MOUTH...and when you're on meds, even that may go out the window. SO...I have learned patience, self acceptance, and that I should do WHAT I CAN - WHEN I CAN!

I have worked in the weight loss industry for many years, became a personal trainer after my 2nd back injury in 2005...I've had like 6 now! And am currently getting a double diploma as an International Health & Fitness Professional from Max International College of Fitness in New Zealand/Australia. I work at Contours Gym in Christchurch and I love it! It's just part of my life!

I have been in this country for 9 years (I landed in Middle Earth 1 September 2006) without the things I loved most like ground turkey , fat free cool whip, egg beaters and spray butter! Put on a little weight (I lost 65 lbs so far in total) trying to adjust and "try" a bit of everything!

Again, the good part was that I learned to eat all over again without the things I thought were healthy...like spray butter and fat-free cool whip! LOL Like America, if you want to eat healthy you have options, but they cost more and unlike America aren't as easy to find! It is a very farming country and getting produce and high protein whole grains isn't tough to find..but it's not like the good ol' mexican grocery store I use to frequent in Crystal Lake Illinois...I miss inexpensive produce! :) People tend to cook and bake here from scratch...couldn't find frosting in a can a couple years back to save my life...who knew you could whip some up with butter, cream, and real chocolate! LOL I did know...but again...it's a way different lifestyle. Saying that, the younger generations are very into their USA institutions like McDs, BKs, KFCs, etc...and fish and chips...cheap and VERY EASY TO GET! So...while I had to give up my Makeup artistry because most don't really care here, fitness, health and weight loss is my "other" passion and everyone here is in need of in someway...even if it's just learning how to make their fatty yummy foods in a more healthy way! I am a big freestyle cook and it's clean :)

My goals and passions lie in helping obese people, in particular, get moving and start making healthier choices with whatever they eat. To let them know there is someone out there who believes in them, who knows how they feel, who knows the struggles and rock-star moments and how to just keep plugging along when life keeps trying to clog up your progress. :)

My Goals:
New goals. Life has changed for me once again! 2 back surgeries plus a very successful Scentsy business have kept me busy and happy. I need to get my back strength back to normal so. I can exercise and walk etc...I miss the gym so much! Plus I need to lose the extra weight. I gained with my back the last year so I can donate my kidney to my man. :) PLUS after 3 1/2 months with Scentsy, I earned a free cruise to Cozumel Mexico and I'd really like to look and feel confident for that! So by January. 2016, I've got plans baby!

Right now...Physio and rehab! They say by January. I will be able to work out like I enjoy! Weights!

Met the love of my life online and moved to New Zealand to be with him!

I Love Animals, MMA, Makeup, the colour and singer P!NK, Scrapbooking, cardmaking and anything crafty and creative. I love sleep and weight lifting...not at the same time :) and I love helping people reach their goals!

I am an image consultant, makeup artist (20+ years now!), skin care expert, and personal trainer & Nutrition coach...I am the one stop fix it shop! And now. I am in Leadership with Scentsy and loving it! I have a team in 3 Countries and love working for myself!

    Very interesting, you have had a lot of setbacks. Back pain, Fibro, that is a lot to deal with. Think management. I've been in a not very good place due to health, I'm going to be 60 soon. If you saw me today you would never know it. Lumbar surgery, Cervical multi level fusion, hip replacement, just to name a few and it doesn't matter. Just keep living and fighting.

    Thinking about your body type. Meso, Endo, Ecto and eat, sleep and train for it. That was a big key for me. What do you think? Know your intensity, duration, and frequency for everything. I know you have experience. Try to dig a little deeper and find new ways outside the box. Each person has to learn how to do it for them.

    I'd like to read your book. Your eating? What macro nutrient % works best for you? Being a Endomophric Mesomorph I gain muscle fast and can gain fat too. Lose it quickly. 207lbs. 181 to 186 lbs lean body mass. I came down from 280 and lost muscle mass, so I brought that back up. I need to keep to a 40% carb, 30% protein, and 30% fat. Too many carbs doesn't work for my carbo sensitive body. Maybe you have some insight.
