Greetings everyone! I'm here to meet new and exciting people who are ready to accomplish their goals..just like me!
I'm 29 , mother of one son who will be 12 this year. For a very long time, I've lived a sedentary lifestyle. I decided to make some personal changes in my life..and what better way to start but with my health!
In the past, I've been so focused on my family and my career that I neglected myself in the end! Now it's time to "do me" and start losing weight, learning healthy eating and living habits that I can pass on to my son! I wish everyone the best with their goal!
Here's a quote by Oprah Winfrey regarding reaching your weight loss goals....
" You can't live the life of your dreams ...without coming face to face with the truth"
Let's remember to always be true to ourselves and set realistic goals!

My Goals:
My Goal is to lose 10 pounds by March 1st!!
Droppin 10 pounds every month until I reach my goal weight of 170lbs
Cross your fingers everyone!
I want to eliminate soda, fruit juices , and other overloaded sugar beverages from my diet!
I want to develop new eating habits and stay away from fried and fast foods!

My Program:
I am exercising 3-4 times a week for at least 30 mins.
I'm currently changing my eating habits (this is the hardest part)
I try to plan my meals ahead and stop eating out of the restaurants! (this is so hard because I'm always on the go!)
I'm also trying to teach my son the right way to eat and live! Lead by example thats what they say..right??

Personal Information:
I'm a Mother of one son who will be 11 yrs old this year. I'm a full time graduate student and I also work full time @ a local hospital as a registered nurse.
I enjoy shopping , traveling, talking to my friends, meeting new people, family time, ya-know the normal stuff.
