As long as you condition for it, and hydrate well, yes, running in heat (slower, of course than running in cooler temperatures) is indeed healthy! You have to be careful of overheating your core, thus going slower!
Hey! Great question on my blog. I measure weekly, some people only measure once every two weeks or once a month. Weekly is just easier for me because I weigh myself weekly, so it's a good way to just do it all at once.
Thank you for deciding to come and visit my page today, and to read my "The Positive Side of Discouragement" blog! I have reached a plateau on my weight loss again, and I have been trying to understand and get past it.
I sometimes have difficulty facing Monday mornings because I know it's the start of a whole week ahead, but the last few weeks have seen no perceived progress, and I was beginning to become quite discouraged. As the week wore on, I thought others might be having the same difficulty, too - and so as I mulled things over in my head this blog evolved.
I do hope that whenever you are feeling discouraged, you'll remember to stop and search for the “positive side of your discouragement”.
I am so happy you have found its perspective interesting, and hope it helped to put some things into perspective for you that might help you along from this point on with your goals, and add a positive spin to your day to help you start your new week off with renewed spirit, and vigor.
