Just a bit about me: I have many medical issues but have made a decision that I can live or I can give up I have chosen to live. This can be difficult. I am an insulin dependent diabetic with gastroparesis. This is terribly challanging. I also live with lupus and fibromyalgia and minor, details like asthma. I live with surgery on my stomac every 3-4 months but I feel lucky this is available to me, very blessed as a wife and mother grandmother, teacher and church musician, and college student, ...
Just a bit about me: I have many medical issues but have made a decision that I can live or I can give up I have chosen to live. This can be difficult. I am an insulin dependent diabetic with gastroparesis. This is terribly challanging. I also live with lupus and fibromyalgia and minor, details like asthma. I live with surgery on my stomac every 3-4 months but I feel lucky this is available to me, very blessed as a wife and mother grandmother, teacher and church musician, and college student, at the age of 53. I choose to live and do as much and often as possible. I have been able to do, through God to live with the pain and difficulties and I am a most fortunate individual. I also thank the lord for this web site and all my teams and friends here at Sparks! Blessings to all p.s. this is a wonderful and motivational place to spend at least 1-2 hours a day, which gives me motivation to keep going. Hurray!

My Goals:
I would like to lose another 15 -20lbs. I have lost 80+ lbs over the past 3 years, I try to keep myself motivated, as I need to keep it up to live.
My Program:
I currently, take my vitamins, work out at least 6 days per week, I have to watch what I eat as I am a brittle insulin dependant diabetic.[6 shots a day] I need all of your help to keep me going. I have gotten a insulin pump but still have troubles but this is better than before. My doctors want me to get a 24 hours blood glucose monitor but of course the insurance company is the hold up. So maybe someday.
Personal Information:
I live in Michigan, on a farm. I have 3 horses, my dog passed away over 1 year ago, a Newfoundland. He was 15. Ive been married to the same wonderful man for 33 years, we have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. We are expecting 2 more grandchildren in Feb 08 and March 08
Other Information:
I am a very caring compationate person,I am a very right brained individual, with many interests, I am a musician, teacher, college student. Wife, mother and grandmother. It seems like I do every craft, there is , I like to "do my own thing" I rarely use patterns, if I do I put my own signature of some sort on it.
