Worth the Effort

I've been very busy getting my master's degree and sticking close to family. This has kept me from working out and eating healthier. I've had a hard time keeping up with the growth in pant-sizes. Since I first joined Sparkpeople in 2009 I have actually gained weight! that's how distracted I have let my self get. Well, onward and upward! Time to treat my body better and enjoy life a little more as a result.

My Goals:
I'm trying to lose 25 pounds (10 right away) but mostly just to get back into shape and feel better again. I'd like to get into the habit of eating healthier, and being more active. Anything will be an improvement over the last couple years.

My Program:
I am just about to pick some fun activities to do for exercise. In the meantime, spend more time in the vegetable garden; pay more attention to what I put in my mouth! So I'm tracking all of this as best as I can to make sure I know exactly when and where I can improve.

Good for you! You're smart to get busy now than to wait like I did until 25 pounds became 105. Sounds like you have a plan and are ready. : )
