HI IM DAN. IM 5'11 AND WHEN I STARTED SPARKPEOPLE I WEIGHED 15 STONE 6LB. I HAVE NOW REACHED 14 STONE (04/01/08). I USED TO BE A LARGE CHILD, I WEIGHED 17 AND A HALF STONE AT AGED 15! I HAD TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. MY LIFE CHANGED IN THE SPACE OF 6 MONTHS. I MANAGED TO GET TO A HEALTHY 10 STONE 8 LB AFTER JUST 6 MONTHS! BUT THEN GOT A GIRLFRIEND, GOT LAZY, AND INEVITABELY PUT WEIGHT ON. I THEN GOT TO THE STAGE WHERE I NEEDED TO DO SOMETHING
ABOUT IT. AND HEY PRESTO, SPARKPEOPLE......

UPDATE: I STARTED TO GAIN MUSCLE WEIGHT AS OF MARCH 2009, I HAVE NOW GOT TO 196LB!!
I KNOW IT IS A BIT TOO FAST.
I AM NOW CURRENTLY ON A 3 MONTH CUT, TO HOPEFULLY GET BACK TO ABOUT 185LB.
LETS GO...

After 5 months away from spark people, i have come back... spark people has helped me a lot and i will use the tools to keep me motivated...
My goal is to strip away around 7-8lb of unwanted winter fat and tone-up in time for summer 2010!! :)

After pulling a muscle in my neck in June 2010, i was forced to quit the gym and could not perform any 'gym related' exercises for 6 months almost. I returned in December 2010 and was raring to go.

Now 2011 is here, im back, stronger and more determined than ever.

    Hey! Thanks for the kind words! I've got a couple things to share that might help with the expense of eating clean and preparing your meals...

    I got myself a Sams Club membership and can actually eat pretty clean for pretty cheap. I often buy a 6Lbs bag of frozen chicken breast, a 5Lbs bag of frozen broccoli, a 5Lbs bag of frozen green beans, a 1Lbs container of organic spinach, and 3Lbs of bananas. Believe it or not al that food is only around $30 and feeds me for days! :)

    Since time is an issue for me too, I often cook all that food on Sunday. I divide it up as meals and put them in containers. The rest of the week, I jst grab the containers I need and go!
