In 2007 I joined Sparkpeople, it turned out to be one of the best things I've ever done for myself, I lost 150 pounds, felt like a million bucks, looked like a million bucks too. Finally learned howto live healthy and not feel deprived. My life was wonderful, I was in a real good place in my life.
Then my husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. My whole world fell apart around me and for the next 16 months my world was full of Chemo, Radiation, and heartbreak ...

In 2007 I joined Sparkpeople, it turned out to be one of the best things I've ever done for myself, I lost 150 pounds, felt like a million bucks, looked like a million bucks too. Finally learned howto live healthy and not feel deprived. My life was wonderful, I was in a real good place in my life.
Then my husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. My whole world fell apart around me and for the next 16 months my world was full of Chemo, Radiation, and heartbreak as I watched the strong vibrant man I had loved for 23 years deteriate a little bit each day. On October 22,2010 my 29 year old son died unexpectedly, 29 days later my husband lost his battle with Cancer, then 4 months later I was diagnosed with Leukemia. Needless to say, I have been a mess, mentally, physically, and financially .I have gained all of my weight back plus 15 extra pounds. I am miserable, I have a lot of health issues but I am ready to do this again. I turned 50 in May and decided that it's now or never I can either sit here and want it or I can get up off my big butt and do it. So... I am DOING it, cause in the end it's all up to ...ME. Here I go.......................( I am keeping my old pictures up as inspiration)

My Goals:
To be able to walk with out being out of breath.
To fit back into my FAVORITE jeans.
Simply to feel as good as I did when I lost 150 pounds.

My Program:

1. Track.. I know tracking is so important, it's what keeps me grounded
2 Excersize in the pool at least 5 days a week, even if it is just to walk in the water for an hour.
3. No more MINDLESS eating !!!!!
