Losing 2/3 of Me

My name is Teresa...and I'm in the process of losing 2/3 of my body weight. I started at 423 pounds, and my goal is 141. When I get there, I'll have lost exactly twice that amount - 282. It's a long journey. I'm currently closing in on being under 300 pounds for the first time in about 13 years.

My Goals:
Goal for 2012 is to lose 8 pounds per month. Done for January - now onto February!

Fitness goal is 1000 minutes per month, most of which is water aerobics - high intensity with lots of intervals.

My Program:
Eating healthfully, basically following the lean protein/good carbohydrate/good fats principles of the South Beach Diet. And exercising at least 4 days per week, usually more.

Thanks for stopping by. I kind of fell into a challenge early on, and then our leader disappeared after about 2 weeks...and of course I'm there being the over-achiever asking everyone what we should do! So...yeah...I was 'blessed' with being the leader. I was so new...so intimidated by it all..but I've loved it ever since. Have a great weekend.
