I decided to loose weight when I was suffering from heel pain and my mobility was being affected. I was scared I would hurt myself and never be able to recover from it, at 323lbs this was a real possibility! I met my original goal of 140lbs in 2010. A loss of 183lbs. My current goal is to get back to 160lbs. I am still here after re-gaining a significant amount of my losses during pregnancy and post-natal depression. This is something people need to open up and talk about more. My depression left my only caring about the small human entirely dependant on me (literally as I exclusively breast fed for 6 months, and until she was 2.5 years old). I didn't care much about myself at all. Weight loss for anybody or reason other than your own reasons doesn't work. You have to want it yourself. Thats why I set myself very small weight loss goals, never looked at the 'big' picture as it didnt seem achievable. In doing this, remaining positive in meeting these small goals, they all added up into something much bigger and better. I cannot deny its been hard, I cannot deny its got me down sometimes, but I also cannot deny its worth it. Its worth being surprised by yourself at finding a motivation you never believed you would have. I read a wonderful quote by a guy who was over 400lbs and lost, by himself. to 185lbs... he said "If you cannot commit to your life, how can you commit to anything in it?" How true is that? If your goals and ambitions and your LIFE are less important than a pizza or a cake then it really IS time to re-evaluate yourself.

I do give the doctor what for, TRUST ME..I AM VERY VOCAL, and I have Pete but some doctors are brilliant with the botox and hit just the right spot others are not so good.
Unfortunately he is the ONLY doctor local to us who's qualified to do them now- one left for Australia ( he was fantastic) and the other moved on to another hospital in Essex!

I shall survive have no fears, Pete always comes in and backs me up too.
Just figuring that it was "one of those things" last time around. Will MAKE SURE he hits the right places on Monday.
    Thanks for being so supportive.
How are the renovations coming on, have you managed to keep your swimming going too??

    Have a great weekend emoticon

I sometimes buy those Bear treats for myself - they're at the check-out in the Co-op! They are only fruit - but they are very concentrated, so end up about as 'healthy' as sweets! But they do minimize the intake of sugars, flavourings and such-like, and we all need a bit of 'fun food' sometimes! The apple ones don't taste of much at all to be honest - just sweet. I like the Cherry ones best. Today I picked up a little packet of Bear Claws with butternut squash in - I think they're bringing them out for Hallowe'en! I like the texture of the Yoyos - and the fact that they are rolled up (like a licorice whirl) so you can eat them nibble-by-nibble as they unroll!
