My Goals:
My goal is to live healthy and share a healthy attitude. I'm working toward loosing another 20 pounds right now. I want to have my clothes fit better.
My Program:
I started my healthy, fitness journey at the age of 53. Charts tell me I'm obese at 174 pounds so my immediate goal is to get out of the "O" category. (As of November, 2010 no longer obese) I run with a BGR group 3 times a week. Fitness DVDs. Minutes of strength training throughout my day.
Personal Information:
I'm a medical transcriptionist working out of my home. My profession calls for me to sit for extended periods of time. I have been doing this for over 20 years and now it's time to get up off my butt! Gained weight sitting at a PC all day the last...., well, since they made PCs. Then I would "rest" in front of the TV after I got off work. Or I would spend my evenings practicing on a musical keyboard. Sit, sit, then sit some more. Like I said before, time for me to get up off my butt!
Other Information:
First time volunteer at a run event February 2013. A week later, I became actively involved in organizing a 5K. Next....Another exciting opportunity that comes my way.
