Still trying. It's amazing that I still have not reached my goal seriously, I know how, just won't be consistent. I annoy myself 😜. I have been weighing EVERYTHING and tracking EVERYTHING. I use the Lose it! app for tracking, I think they have a better database for food.
But it's working. My motivation is I'm turning 50 in May. I have to get my weight under control, I just can't be unhealthy AND overweight AND old. The age I can do nothing about, but I can control my weight, and give my body healthy foods and keep it moving.

Personal Information:
I'm still waiting to feel like a grown up!

I'm a wife, mother, sister, daughter.

I'm a stroke survivor.

I've been married to Pete for many many years

We have a daughter who a son who are adults, no babies here.

Cancer has reared it's ugly head my life in many forms. My dad died from a brain tumor in 1992.

My mother lost her voice box to cancer & also had breast cancer.

My MIL passed away due to lung cancer in 2012.

Life is short, enjoy each day for the blessing it is.


Other Information:
I had 2 strokes in 1999 when I was 32 caused by a condition called Central Nervous System Vasculitis. I was already 25 pounds over weight when I got sick and between medication and my balance issues I gained a lot of weight.
I was 280 pounds at my highest weight.
I have some disabilities from the strokes so my exercise is somewhat limited to mostly walking.
