Your visit to my page brought me back to sparkpeople for the first time in months. I was cooking and exercising like mad this summer. Then life stepped in and my father in law died this summer. My mom moved from nearby to Va and I was gone 12 days helping her. When I came back I was unable to complete a workout. In just weeks my smaller clothes I'd just bought in the summer don't fit and I've gained 12 pounds. In November my mother in law died. We barely got Christmas going for the relatives here. Now our beloved dog Honey has pancreatic cancer and has little time left. But I found a meal replacement drink mix the hubby and I have been trying for a week now. It's so good! I'm hoping a little weight loss can spark me back into exercise. The Ninja has saved me with our stressful days of caring for this sick dog and a hubby that just had cataract surgery. I threw half a package of spaghetti, jar of sauce, frozen gluten free meatball and four cups of water in the ninja and in 25 minutes dinner was done! I still love the ninja just haven't been cooking much lately.

Hi Mandy. No, no new car yet. My car is still running, I really don't want to get rid of it (I envision trading it in, the car dealer having it fixed and then seeing it out on the road and crying!!!), and I haven't even decided between another coupe or a small SUV. Our car dealers are prohibited from opening on Sunday, so Saturday is really the only day I have to investigate. It's on my "to do" list; will keep you posted.
