Hot for Katy!

Haha my heading is short for "making myself look hotter for when I go to the Katy Perry concert in December with a friend". I really want to be able to enjoy it and be smaller than I am now, my top end goal is 30kg by aiming for 1kg per week using myfitnesspal, fitbit, 6:1, 16:8, paleo and turbofire, turbo jam, windsor pilates, and zumba. I'm making my own plan and some may think it's crazy and all over the show but I know it fits my schedule and my life and I'm keen to have this work! (my ...

My Goals:
To look better than I've ever looked in my life. To be healthy and happy and to enjoy what I see in the mirror.
*defined calves
*sexy armpits (yes there is such a thing)
*strong thighs
*well supported and strong midsection
Also to have the energy to keep up with my daughter, and any future children I may have.

My Program:
This is my plan and it's working for ME!

*FITBIT

*MYFITNESSPAL on my android smartphone

*I do turbo fire, turbo jam, pilates, zumba, weight lifting, walking, yard work. I generally just try to be more active.

*Intermittent fasting 6:1 with 16:8 on days where I eat.

Personal Information:
I am going to do this for health and happiness and just to feel good and look sexy to myself, my husband and complete strangers. I miss the days of being oggled for the right reasons.

Hi Adrienne! Yes this is super exciting for everyone, and will make my life so much easier. Yes the whole calorie counting, weighing and measuring is apparently the way to go for me! It is a little bit of work but so worth it!

Sorry to hear about your illness Hope you get back to normal soon! Looking forward to updates!

Same here love, a rather rough 12 months, moved twice across the country each time, job issues, I'm pretty much back where I started weightwise, but I have to push through. I've heard great thing about Paleo, keep it up emoticon

So far eating 2600 cals is liberating! I am finding I am struggling to make the amount and sometimes (more than I'd like this past week) resort to chips and the sort. But I am going to spend Saturday doing a big overhaul and pre plan meals that will get me the most bang for my buck... like making a veggie soup, adding a salad and having what ever dressing I want instead of having a big or double serving of dinner. Dinner is the hardest meal for me because I have to make it for my very picky yet not picky eater of a boyfriend- he doesn't like veggies and I would hate to resort to making two meals so I think adding the veggie soup or the salad to my dinner will make it better for me. Also need to keep up on prepping the fruit and veggies so I can just grab and go!

I am going to get him to make me a board for my laptop so it can sit on my treadmill and I can exercise while sparking and such! It will make me dread it less lol.

PS your BMR is a number you should not be going below. That is what you burn laying in a coma. Check out the http://iifym.com/ website they have tons of calculators on there. I ended up going to multiple websites (google bmr/tdee calculators) and they all ended up saying about the same thing. Good luck!
