I've been gone for a very long time...time to get back to it! hopefully, after some hard work and discipline, I won't be so squishy anymore.

Logging back on to SparkPeople has motivated me. I'm really glad that I took the time to blog and track my progress. I'd like to get back to that!

My Goals:
My goal is more fitness oriented than anything.

My overal goal is to get to 170 lbs. Then, I won't be in the "obese" BMI category!!

I want to be able to roller-blade around the lake. I also want to be able to consistently jog around the lake. (approximately 5 miles)

My Program:
My program is to eat better and make healthier food choices. I'm also giving myself personal fitness challenges every six months or so.


Other Information:
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? ... Your playing small doesn't serve the world. We were born to make manifest the glory ...that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Thanks for the sweet comments! As far as other videos, I like Denise Austin boot camp..picked that up at Target a few years ago, real quick but intense cardio then a good strength training one as well. I just started checking out some of the SP videos and they're pretty great too for a quick workout. I don't like them to be too long because I like to mix n match with different 'trainers' everyday. Yay good luck girl!

I lost fifty pounds on the Southbeach diet.... not that I stuck to it completely... but I'm an avid believer in eliminating bad carbs...white flour, white potatoes, white rice, pasta and sugar..and adding more protien to your diet. and, drink lots of water.....
