My Goals:
-To become comfortable in my own skin
-To become an athlete
-To change my body

My Program:
I started Weight Watchers in July 2006. I lost 50 pounds between then and May 2007. I recently regained 10-15 of those pounds and need to get them off by summer 2009!

Personal Information:
I'm a doula from North Dakota. I enjoy walking, biking and running, In my free time, I sing with our community chorus and train for marathons. I enjoy reading, knitting, playing the piano, and cooking healthy meals.

Other Information:
I believe that if a person sets a goal, she can achieve it. I have done it many times in my life. I had a VBAC (two, actually) when all the doctors said I needed a C-section, I became the first certified doula in my city, I lost weight when everyone said I never could because fat was "in the genes".

I'd like to do another 1/2, too. Only next time I want to actually feel in shape for it. You'd think running 20-30 miles a week would put you in great shape, but I felt horrible. I feel much better lifting.

Hi there!!! We have a mutual sparkfriend (Kim) and I saw the name of your page and just HAD to stop by!!!! I absolutely LOVE Wicked!!! I dressed up as Elphaba for halloween one year with my best friend as Glinda and we always sang the duets together! Anywhoo. I hope you're having a lovely day!!!

I did the 5k with 3 of my kids. I actually ended up walking most of it because my 12 y/o got a side ache about 1/2 mile in to it. It was fun though.

I kind of quit running after my 1/2 last fall. My body was so burned out. My son is running cross country this fall and he and our neighbor girl (she's starting, too), start training this week. I'm thinking about training with them (at my own pace, of course!) I'm doing more with weights and intervals right now.

What have you been up to? Are you running?
