I've never been at a healthy weight in my adult life. And I have hypothyroidism, which has contributed to my weight gain. And I am on medications that cause weight gain. I also have 2 herniated disks in my lower back which can make it difficult to exercise as much as I'd like to.

I want to be healthy. I want to not only be a healthy weight, but learn to take in foods that will make me feel better, help reduce my cholesterol, and manage my blood sugar.

I will NOT give up, because I AM worth it! No more excuses!!!

My Goals:
I am aiming for at least a 1-2 lb weight loss per week.

I will ultimately be aiming for a healthy weight of 139 lbs or lower.

I want to lower my cholesterol and blood sugar.

I want to increase my endurance and get into a good exercise routine.




My Program:
Drinking 8-12 glasses of water

Getting 8 hrs of sleep a night

Eating between 1000-1200 calories (per my doctor)

Take a multivitamin

Eating foods from all food groups:
~at least 5 fruits & veggies
~at least 3 oz lean meat
~2 dairy products
~whole grain carbs when possible
~healthy fat (usually olive oil)

Staying positive :o)

Exercise at least 20 min/5x a week, doing one of the following:
~walk
~Gazelle
~Turbo Jam workouts
~Turbo Fire workouts
