Stacy's Long Road to a Healthy Body and Mind

I was in denial for a long time. All the stress that I am in makes me eat. I am an emotional eater and I am addicted to certain foods (like sweets and coke). I have a lot of people who are trying to force me to lose weight and because I am sensitive it makes me very upset and it actually makes me NOT want to lose weight just to rebel against them.

I was forced once to go on an atkins diet and it made me sick. I want to do it in a healthy way this time but I want people to support ...
I was in denial for a long time. All the stress that I am in makes me eat. I am an emotional eater and I am addicted to certain foods (like sweets and coke). I have a lot of people who are trying to force me to lose weight and because I am sensitive it makes me very upset and it actually makes me NOT want to lose weight just to rebel against them.

I was forced once to go on an atkins diet and it made me sick. I want to do it in a healthy way this time but I want people to support me, not force me.

When I am an emotional wreck I want to drink Coke. I also will not eat for a long time and then I will binge later. I need to eat on a set schedule and learn to enjoy healthy foods. I need to start drinking water (I NEVER do) and eating more vegetables and fruit.

I have a lot of insecurities and it takes me a while to warm up and open to different ideas and people. I am trying to learn to be more open though.

My Goals:
- Lose 7 lbs in 8 weeks
- Drink water and stop drinking Coke and other sugary drinks
- Cut out my addiction to sweets eventually
- Feel confident about my body and who I am
- Learn more about who I am
- Stabilize emotions
- Become more open to new ideas and less stubborn
- Look good in a bikini

My Program:
-Exercise at least 90 minutes per week (so 15 min per day 6 times per week)
- Eat 7-8 vegetables and fruit a day
- Drink 8 glasses of water per day
- Learn more about nutrition and how to eat healthy
- Eat on a schedule and only eat until I am full
- Do not eat in front of the computer or TV

Welcome to sparkpeople!!! Best of luck on your weight loss journey! :) Just stay focused and you will reach your goals soon enough. If you drink at least 8 cups of water, stay within your calories, stay active, and get involved with your teams, you will succeed. Also, I'm a leader of a few teams, hope join the teams.
