SparkPeople stole my "e"... (from my user-name)

In the condition I am now, I would most definitely be zombie fodder if the zombie apocalypse were to start. So I am here in hopes of increasing my chances of survival!

But in all seriousness, I am in my mid-twenties, in the worst shape of my life, and sick of it. I need to lose 75 lbs to be at my ideal weight. I started here once before, made a little progress, and then life got in the way. Not this time.

I was always overweight, but once I began college I also began to gain... being in the car, going between campus, home, and work, it was just too easy to swing through the drive-thru and get a burger. Moving into my own apartment, and being on my own budget, I cut a lot of the "junk" out of my diet, but was swamped with work and became sedentary, which caused me to continue to gain. Now I live with my boyfriend, J, and have taken up his eating habits... large portions, lots of fast food and processed foods.

I can identify where I've made poor choices. I can identify what I need to change. Now I need to do something about it... it's not enough to say I need to eat better and be active, I have to DO IT. I look forward to getting to know some of you and going through this process with you.

When I reach my goal weight, I'm treating myself to a trip to England. My friend Carla lives in London and once my goal weight is really close, I will plan a shopping trip with her.

My Program:
Calorie counting: trying to stay within Spark range of 1200-1500, making those calories come from healthful foods and not junk, but being realistic and not seeing food as "good" or "bad."

Drink 8+ cups of H2O every day

Fitness: Stationary bike, stretching, tension bands, walking, C25K (gotta run from the Zees!)
