Positive thoughts produce positive results.

My word for 2015 is seeking.

In 2015 I will be seeking a healthier lifestyle. There needs to be changes made and I know it's up to me. I've been at this for a while and I'll admit there have been times I just wanted to quit, but there is such great encouragement and support here, that quitting just isn't an option. I'll keep trying till I get to where I want to be.

Here's to a healthier 2015 for all of us.

Hi Shirl, No big plans for the 4th. I am off Friday the 3rd, so I'm getting a curly perm and then we're going out to dinner (as a mystery shop at one of our favorite restaurants). This past weekend, I just stayed home and tried to catch up on things. Yesterday, I left work right at 5 and enjoyed getting home when it was still daylight! The long hours have just been killing me. I was more ambitious when I was younger and climbing the ladder. I don't want that any more. I want to work and I want to play and have more balance. We're only 5 weeks from summer commencement so it's going to get crazy again real soon. Tina

Thanks for stopping by my blog on red raspberries. No, my husband is not diabetic. He has macular degeneration, although it's not really typical. Usually it starts out as a "dry" condition and then when blood vessels leak it is called "wet". I think the medications act like a glue that wrap around the blood vessel and seal it off. His came on in the wet version all of a sudden. I never heard of it happening that way before. But a couple years ago he took a fall while skiing. He hit his head so hard he cracked his helmet and knocked himself out. I've be wondering if he loosened or damaged a blood vessel somehow and it just got worse over time. In any case, he is up to 11-12 weeks between shots. I hope your husband has a much success as mine has had.
