I lost my job at the thrift store and am not working now as I am too depressed to do anything. I am living in Minnesota now and working at a thrift store. I need to find other work as this is only part time. I enjoyed helping with my great nieces for the time I had with them. I will only go back to nannying if I find a perfect job for me. I worked as a nanny for over twenty years. My niece lives in the Metairie part of New Orleans. My baby work ended sooner than planned, and I am helping with the babies grandmother, my sister Mary, who has memory loss. I was born in Los Angeles and left there when I was 16 years old. I have lived in Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Maryland, Virgina, DC, Minnesota and Puerto Rico. I was one of twelve children from the same two parents, all single births. There are ten of us still alive now. I have more family than I like to count! One more sister died, so their are only nine of us left.

I saw your post about more meds. It took the doctor's a couple of years to figure out the exact doses and what kind of anxiety and depression meds I needed. I feel like I have more anxiety than depression at this point. When things aren't going like you would like them it is easy to be very depressed. When I didn't like my job I was more depressed than usual. I hope you feel better soon.

The Vet sent us home with Frontline Gold and the fleas were gone within minutes. They also get the dogs a little pill that kills through the skin within the 20 min time frame. Apparently fleas are becoming resistant to many of the treatments and this is the one that is still working. Also there are different fleas in different areas and different treatments. I hope you have good luck as we did. We learned a lot since we have never had this problem. Good info to know.

Hi and thanks so much for your comment on my blog. Yes, important to love ourselves! We've been told not to by media and society and especially advertising that wants us to buy more and more products to "improve" ourselves.
