My Goals:
Exercise a minimum of 3 days a week with cardio and strength training.

Drink minimum 10 glasses of water a day.

Increase protein and fiber in my food plan.

My Program:
Alternate between cardio and strength training videos.

Follow a food plan that includes 3 meals a day and nothing in between, one day at a time.

Daily reading to maintain abstinence and to learn more about myself and ability to change.

Personal Information:
I live in Northwest Illinois in a more rural area than the city or suburbs and absolutely love it. I've been married to my hubby for 16 years and have two dogs, both of which were rescues, named Finnegan and Elsie. I belong to OA and that has been life-changing in all aspects of my life. The group is the most accepting and welcoming people I have ever met in my life.

Other Information:
I'm a huge football and hockey fan, so I'm thrilled when autumn season rolls around. I also love to read and almost always have a book or magazine in my purse. I'm a pretty quiet person, but am learning to be more comfortable in my skin instead of trying to conform to others' expectations. I'm growing and changing and I love the peace and serenity that comes with that. Hard, painful work sometimes for sure, but worth the self-confidence and peace that comes from it.

Hi Shannon! Hoping life is treating you good! I'm loving our beautiful fall weather. My hubby is busy harvesting our corn today. The soybeans are done and we are fortunate to have great yields. I'm crazy busy watching three little ones. I have my grandson Kohen everyday. He just keeps a smile on my face and joy in my heart. I think next fall I'm only going to watch my grandson. It's getting so hard on my back taking care of the little ones. How is your mom doing? I know this has been a difficult time for you. I think of you often and keep you in my prayers! Hope to hear from you when you have time. Sending hugs! :) emoticon emoticon
