Update: Found out on 5/11/13 that we are pregnant! Soo excited!
Found out on 5/24/13 that we are having TWINS! Due January 16, 2014.
Found out 8/9/13 that they are boy/girl twins, woohoo! We are just absolutely ecstatic! :D

I am 25, married to a wonderful man, with no kids (yet, see above), but two very spoiled dogs :)

I have struggled with my own insecurities with my body image for a very long time, since I was a young girl, and have struggled with my weight since around 2006.

I used to play fastpitch softball on a very competitive traveling team, from the time I was 11. I met my now-husband in early 2005 when I was 16. At the end of 2005, my team split up and we moved away. I got a fulltime job to help pay for the wedding that was already being planned and stayed very busy. With going from vigorous exercise daily - practice, games, tournaments - to virtually no exercise, I gained weight..and quickly!! I have since put on over 70 pounds and I am READY to get it OFF!!!

I am working to motivate my family as they motivate me so that we can all be a healthier generation. I want to have kids with my DH in the very near future and I want to get healthy to help that process and to pass on healthy habits to my future child(ren).

I am sick of being on and off exercise and "dieting" so this time I am not dieting, I am changing my lifestyle to eat healthy and enjoy life. I have struggled and have lost some weight just to put it back on numerous times. I realized recently (beginning of 2013) that it was because I jump in full speed ahead and go hard for 3 or so weeks and then I'm burned out so I fall just as fast as I started and gain the weight right back. This time, I am making slow and steady changes in my life and building them into habits instead of going 100% at it. One small habit or healthy choice at a time and once that is easy to do each day then I move on to the next habit I want to build. I am losing the weight more slowly than when I go at it 100% but I am also keeping it off and don't feel like quitting after only 3 weeks.

My Goals:
I want to gain an overall knowledge of a healthier lifestyle. I very muchly enjoy pizza, goodies (especially baked goods), and all the "junk" and I want to be able to eat healthier, and treat myself less often so I can enjoy it more. I've also taken on the goal of staying positive. I've had a lot of up and down battles, just like everyone else. However, I am responsible for my outlook on life so today, it is positive.

My Program:
Water is an easy one for me, fruit is also easy because I really love fruit. It's the veggies that are harder. I am a pretty picky eater so that makes it hard at times.
I am currently in the C25K program so that I can start running again. I walk at work atleast 5 days a week and am working on building my healthy eating choices, which is going really well so far. I need to get better about adding cardio and ST at home (the work walks are not quite enough to get my heart pumping because of the limited capabilities of those I walk with). So I am working to add cardio and ST to my routine, slowly but surely :)

I belong to several challenges and teams just to be able to mix things up. I am also on the Golden Phoenix team in the Biggest Loser Challenge, and have been participating with that team for over a year now. Go Phoenix!

Personal Information:
I love being outdoors - camping, hiking, fourwheeling, etc. I am a big family person and am very close to most of my family. I also have a very close-knit circle of friends that is a second family to me and I love them as if we were blood. I love motivational pictures and quotes as they are what keep me going when sometimes I just don't want to.

Other Information:
You can do anything you put your mind to, but you have to really put your mind to it.
