I am now a bit more "creaky" than I would like to be which means I have to listen to my body but also keep it moving. I am absolutely certain that exerting energy will help me stay energized as much as having a good night sleep.

This is what I love about SparkPeople...it really does advocate balance and having a healthy lifestyle. At this time I think I need reminding more than ever. When I was younger there is no doubt I could get away with a lot more such as eating larger meals and keeping the weight off, not having to worry about aches and pains, etc.

I am so glad that I have been blessed with good health and will do my best NOT to take that for granted when so many I know don't have the opportunity to do so.

Fitness Minutes: 75,011

My Goals:
On to the Spring Challenge with one of the challenges to be putting down one's goals here. Yikes! Makes one accountable though.
So, I will get in at leasst 30 minutes of movement 6 days a week. I will do strength work outs at least 3 times a week. I will go to the gym at least 3 times a week along with biking and walking on other days or doing a video. Movement and portion size are the key and I WILL meet my goal!

My Program:
When I am not too busy it's easy to log on and put down everything I eat. Well, I have to try to do that even when I am busy and I will do something every day to move my body.

Personal Information:
I have two adult daughters who inspire me to be healthy. A short time ago I found out that I will be a Grandma this year!! Now I will need that energy to be the most active grandparent I can be. Should be an exciting year.Neither are married or have kids but I want to be there feeling awesome should that time come. I am a realtor so sometimes it's crazy busy and sometimes not but it's all on me to schedule my time to exercise. I have to remember that this body is a gift from God and to do more to honor that fact.

Other Information:
I love to read and am part of a neighborhood book club. I love watching movies more than I should. I sing and spend much of Sunday doing choir stuff, especially near Christmas and Easter. I have dabbled in making jewelry and needlework,(key word is dabbled here). I am working on getting my house is good shape and will soon be stripping wallpaper and grabbing a paint brush.
