Changing Bad Habbits

I am being a very slow starter. I logged in on spark people 25 days ago, bought the book, trying to read and get involved. This is helping me to make my way at my pace.

I have a lot of bad habbits to work on. Some are my own and some are hard to get a grip on. To start, I am working on the easy ones and hopefully it will make the harder one easy to deal with.

By the year end in 2000, the scale was tipping at 198 lbs, I was getting a divorce, needing to buy ...
I am being a very slow starter. I logged in on spark people 25 days ago, bought the book, trying to read and get involved. This is helping me to make my way at my pace.

I have a lot of bad habbits to work on. Some are my own and some are hard to get a grip on. To start, I am working on the easy ones and hopefully it will make the harder one easy to deal with.

By the year end in 2000, the scale was tipping at 198 lbs, I was getting a divorce, needing to buy bigger pants, and just plain feeling like crap. By the end of summer 2001, I was down to 135lbs with no help, just a new outlook.

Now, at the beginning of 2010, the scale tipping at 180lbs, my pants are tight and I don't want to buy new ones. I have done this before and I can do it again. This time I want to be able to keep the weight off for the rest of my life.

Waterbugette, I just noticed your fantastic weight loss on our "Michigan Cities" page, so I read your blogs. You must be so proud of your success; it's inspirational to me. I don't have as much to lose, but it's certainly coming off SLOWLY. I'm doing various things to kick-start my metabolism. Please pass on any other "secrets" you discovered.
