I'm in my mid- 30's and starting this again. My goal is to eat healthy and regularly exercise. I have 30 pounds to lose to be content again with myself but I am not focusing on a final number, anything over that is just a bonus to me. I have 3 cats, 2 dogs, and a snake, love to walk, play soccer, swim, and bike.
Baby steps are my way to keep this up forever! I have learned (the HARD way), that if I do everything at once, I will fail. So I do everything in stride and take my time. It didn't take me overnight to gain this weight and eating habits, so I can't expect them to go away overnight either.
I have a challenge for anyone reading this. It's inspired by the last episode of Grey's Anatomy for Season 4. Many people ask me how I am so successful at my weight loss, and this pretty much wraps up things I've been doing all year to get where I am. So, with that in mind, go think of your whole future picture and what you can do without, what you can delegate, and what you need to get to your future. When you see the whole big picture of your life, you will realize why everything you are doing now needs to be permanent changes. Please let me know how its going and if you have any questions. :) GOOD LUCK!!
