To lose 12 pounds and be toned, toned, toned!
I work out with dvds at home 3 to 4 days a week. I'm currently doing Kathy Smith Power Walking most days. It's something I can do indoors at work, so this is perfect. Other days I'm still doing Les Mills Combat, a MMA type of workout & CIZE, a DANCE workout. For strength training, I do Turbo Fire resistance band workouts and ChaLEAN Extreme dumbbell workouts.
I eat pretty clean (no white stuff, no artificial sweeteners or trans fats) 95% of the time and prefer to cook, rather than go out to eat.
I'm happily married to my soulmate, Jim - for 29 years now. We live in the country and have 4 kids between us. 'Our' baby graduated from college 4 years ago and married 2 months later so we're empty-nesters and have adjusted really well to it. It's been quite different as we've had children around since the day we met.

Hi Wanaka, you went to Hawaii, l envy you. Smile! That's where my daughter had her honeymoon. They only stayed alittle over a week. I truly want to go some day, yet l want to stay atleast, three weeks.
I just updated my status, now l'm 5 pounds lighter, heading down to 168. That will be the 15 pounds that l'm after.
Again you're been so helpful and inspirational for me, l know l can do it!!! Me

Hi Wanaka, thanks for the goodie from last month. I was helping my friend to get back on track, with exercise, and eating right. We went to the Poconos. We left on Monday Jun. 27th, and stayed for 3 days. She is back on track, and l'm going to loose 15 more pounds. Whew!
I guess your goodie was my reward for helping her. You sent it the day we came home. I call it wisdom from above. Smile!

Hi Wanaka, l saw the goodie you gave me. First l couldn't make out what it was? Then l signed on to SPARKPEOPLE and realized it was a new wardrobe! Thanks so much. It's funny, yesterday l went to a retirement dinner and what l thought l was going to where, just didn't fit right. I tried on my size 14 petite, which l am not, yet it was so lose on me. You are right on time. I love you girl like a big sister, yet l think l am older than you, l'm retired! Smile.
