To lose 12 pounds and be toned, toned, toned!
I work out with dvds at home 3 to 4 days a week. I'm currently doing Kathy Smith Power Walking most days. It's something I can do indoors at work, so this is perfect. Other days I'm still doing Les Mills Combat, a MMA type of workout & CIZE, a DANCE workout. For strength training, I do Turbo Fire resistance band workouts and ChaLEAN Extreme dumbbell workouts.
I eat pretty clean (no white stuff, no artificial sweeteners or trans fats) 95% of the time and prefer to cook, rather than go out to eat.
I'm happily married to my soulmate, Jim - for 29 years now. We live in the country and have 4 kids between us. 'Our' baby graduated from college 4 years ago and married 2 months later so we're empty-nesters and have adjusted really well to it. It's been quite different as we've had children around since the day we met.

Hi Wanaka. I' glad you had a nice Mother's Day! I went to my Mom's Saturday, with her brother and my sister. I chilled Sunday. My eldest son is in Cali., he called, and so did my second son. My next child is my daughter, which ordered a anti-aging facial. I will get it by next week. Then the baby girl wanted to take me out. I knew we would have to wait, being Mother's Day. So she brought me take out, every thing l liked. It was a good day I just have to keep pushing!

Thanks for getting back to me. I am on a reduced calorie diet, yet if l'm stressed, frustrated, etc. l go over my calories sometimes. I'm trying to add more workouts, like working on abs, etc. sometimes my hip, or knees hurts, then l have to do floor exercises, instead of areobics.
I'm headed to my Mom's soon.

Hey girl, l finally found your page. HELP. I also use DVD to exercise. I do have a few. For the last six weeks, l had a exercise program, that l went to for three times a week. Now that's it over l'm back to the DVD's, yet my weight is at a stand still.
Right now l need encouragement.
