My answer to "how are you?" is

I'm WELL and HAPPY! If you start there, the days are always better.

My goal for 2012 are to move from obese to overweight to "normal" weight. I've been overweight since I was young. But, I've always been active and strong so it never looked so bad!

Now, nearing the big 6-0 I'm not as firm and just don't look so good any more. :(

I also have high cholesterol so, with that and the overweight I'm halfway toward ...

Perspective, boooo. I am going to celebrate every pound that you lose. You have dropped 9 pounds and that is an accomplishment no matter how long it took. The weight that I am losing is weigh that I have lost once before and it isn't coming off nearly as easily as it did originally. We just need to keep trying and remember that with every pound we are improving our bodies and our health.

Thank you for the goodie. That 4 pounds was harder to get off this second time than it was a couple of years ago.
I hope that your ankle and shoulder are healed up and that you are feeling fine.
