That obstacle 5k sounds like a challenge you can totally conquer. No 5ks for me, I finally allowed myself to figure out that I just don't enjoy running LOL. I think for a while I used that as a measure as to how thin I was or well I was doing on my journey and it only made me feel worse. I certainly will run here and there and I WILL still run a complete 5k but I'm no longer hanging it over my own head.
That feeling many get from a run or a getting a personal best time, I'm finding in trying new cardio classes or working on building my ST routine.
I'm doing a weight loss challenge with friends and while I know I won't come in first, I'm 2.7lbs away from the goal I set with one week left to go.
