It's all up to me!

I have been struggling to lose weight for most of my adult life. I have had limited short term success. All or most of the programs work as long as you work them. So slowly I have accepted that this must be a lifestyle for health. No easy solutions, but great rewards over time when I take small steps everyday. It is so hard to change habits that I have had for a lifetime, but I must forge ahead one day at a time!

Here on July 1st 2009 I am still struggling! I have gone back to the beginning and set new fast break goals. I lost 23 pounds and gained 21 back again. I will never give up though and I will succeed.
November 1st 2009-- I lost momentum, but I am back! Never ever give up.

My Program:
1. Login to sparkpeople everyday for support and inspiration.
2. 35 minutes of cardio everyday.
3. Strength training 3 days per week.
4. Stay within calorie range.
5. Pack lunch when working.

Personal Information:
I'm Cookie & I'm from Va. Beach, VA. I have 2 wonderful daughters!

Other Information:
I am an avid reader. I like all kinds of music. Survivor is my favorite tv show. I would like one day to be able to say that I love exercise.

Hi and thanks for your comment....!! It is hard keeping on day by day...they're SO LONG! :) but..it's manageable.

So, what's your plan for the day?? A long walk on the beach? That sounds amazing to me! I may just do it!
