I'm here to get fit and lose weight. My life has had some major changes this year and every one of them has been positive, except that once I started focusing on how well everything else was going in my life I stopped caring about my weight. I'm at my highest weight of all time, and determined to lose it. I have always struggled with my weight, and always felt the need to be skinny so others would approve of me, like me, envy me, all of that garbage. This year my outlook on weight and food has changed completely, and I no longer fight the battle of wanting to be skinny, but I do want to LOVE MY BODY, which I don't at this point. My relationship with food has changed, and I love sitting down to a beautiful healthy meal, I love to cook and eat healthy foods, but I have realized over time that I also LOVE junk food and snacking.
I moved to a new city in July 2012, and since then I adopted a puppy and have been running and walking every day. I lost 10lbs when I moved here, and have gained back that 10 lbs, plus an extra 15. I am happy with all other aspects of my life, so this is the last piece of the puzzle. I have an extremely supportive boyfriend who eats healthy and we love to walk our pups and go for bike rides together. I have support all around so this should be easy, right? I need to push myself to take the first step, the rest should fall into place.
I've done this time and time again. Lose some weight, gain back twice as much. My mom was diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer in March which took my eating habits and exercise habits into a downward spiral. Looking back to March, April and May I don't even know how I made it through. After a 25 lb weight gain, tipping the scales at nearly 200 lbs (highest weigh in being at 195) I felt disgusted with myself. Finally I went to visit my mom in June and she was doing better, which was a huge relief. Things are starting to fall back into place. My eating and exercise routine are getting back on track as well, so now that weight should start falling off and I will feel like myself again. One foot in front of the other, small steps and I will lose this weight in no time.

GET FIT WITH MY PIT! I have a rescued a pitbull from Cali. Going to lose this weight through running and walking with him daily combined with a regular gym routine, bike riding to and from work, and healthy eating. and most importantly NO MORE UNHEALTHY SNACKING!
