I am a 39 year old mother of 3 who needs to lose 110 pounds. I am currently a student at University of Phoenix online studying for my Associate of Arts in Business. I am currently unemployed due to a heel spur that is aggravated by my weight. The photos on this page are of myself and my husband, James. The last photo of me was taken in 2001, which shows that I have gained quite a bit of weight since then but I am determined to get back on track. I began the diet on 2/20/09 weighing in at 265. I lost 7 pounds in the first week. I had lost down to 248 pounds by March 28th but the first week of April did me in when I gained 2 pounds. My fault though. I need to overcome this obstacle and get back on track.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose the 110 pounds that I am carrying around. I do not understand why I have allowed myself to carry this weight for so long. I won a total gym last year and have used it on and off since September 08. My problem is I lack motivation. The total gym is easy and you can feel it working from the first exercise. I just seem to get too involved with my school work and forget about working out.

My Program:
I use the weight watchers point system to control my food intake.
I am struggling to incorporate the total gym into my diet. It's very difficult to start exercising when there is no motivation or desire to inflict pain upon my out of shape muscles.

I like to read books by Sue Grafton, Mary Higgins Clark, Patricia Cornwell and other mysteries. I am a forensic science buff and spend most of my free time reading about it or watching various shows about it. My favorite movies are When Harry Met Sally, October Sky, the Goonies and Fried Green Tomatoes.
I am obsessed with Garfield the cat and have been all my life.
We have 4 cats and they are like children, thank goodness they don't have the habits of teenagers.

    It's not a big issue. I figured you meant that it about your blog, but I didn't want to seem like I wasn't interested in the other things you had to say. I thought the website was totally awesome and it seemed to apply to your dillema.

    I noticed your post on one of the threads, and wondering if you would like to join a no sugar challenge for the month of May? I am not running it - a girl on one of my other tams is. If interested go under my team list on my Spark Page the team is there and then you can go to that page. I am just giving information - please do not feel pressured in anyway. I just know that sugar is sabotaging my weight loss.
