Ready to stop wearing Jersey Knit.
I joined Spark during my first year of graduate school, back up to 170lbs after a lifelong struggle with my weight. I set my goal at 130 (lighter than I had been since elementary school) and set on my way. I have fallen off the wagon a time or two on the now year and a half long journey, and had my share of set backs. But, I reached 135 back in November for the first time and realized that if I lost any more weight I was going to look like Skelator. When I realized that I was slowly ...
When I realized that I was slowly killing myself by not eating and the deprivation was probably to blame for my binge eating, I left Spark to try to develop a healthy relationship with food on my own. Unfortunately the binging continued, I stopped exercising, and now I can't wear even my fat jeans from last spring. So I'm back, ready to try to beat binge eating disorder as best I can with the support of my Spark Friends. My latest reward schedule: 150lbs: new hubcaps [goal date: 8/31/10] 145lbs: pedicure [goal date: 9/21/10] 140lbs: kitchen knife [goal date: 10/26/10] 135lbs: prescription sunglasses [goal date: 11/23/10] Maintain through 2/1/11: designer jeans

My Goals:
I am headed back down the scale towards my goal weight of 135 for the third time now. I know I can do it, I've done it before. But my real goal, now is to build a healthy relationship with food so that I can maintain a healthy lifestyle for good. I want to control my binge eating and keep fitness a part of my life no matter where I go.
My Program:
I have been counting every calorie for so long it almost seems strange not to now. I make it to the gym at least 5 times a week for cardio and am starting to try my hand at the strength training machines too.
